Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) as alternative to PCR-based pathogen detection in point-of-care and field diagnostics

Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) is a versatile technique for detection of target DNA and RNA, enabling rapid molecular diagnostic assays with minimal equipment. This talk will introduce LAMP and showcase point-of-care tests not only for infectious diseases, but also ecological and agricultural applications. Looking forward we will sneak peek on active LAMP research at New England Biolabs and highlight latest product developments.
