Next-level diagnosis: Single-step extraction of nucleic acids and massively parallel analysis

• The global COVID-19 outbreak has resulted in a need for ultra-fast high-throughput testing to contain the infection process.
• Novel technologies such as single-step nucleic acid purification and established and new technologies for analysis such as RT-qPCR and LAMPseq can be key elements in fighting the pandemic.
• In this talk, Dr. Benedikt Bürfent will elaborate on these technologies and give an outlook on their potential in pandemic and post-pandemic molecular diagnostics.
